How do you save the ties that bind your family together? How do you contend with unforeseen tragedy? In Fran Stewart's most emotionally-charged novel so far, small-town librarian Biscuit McKee confronts Glaze, her bipolar sister on the verge of a deep depression. Complications result in mistaken identities, dire misunderstandings, and a kidnapping gone horribly awry.

This is not really a mystery. There are some enjoyable characters, Marmalade the cat being the best, but almost too many characters to keep track of. There is no mystery to solve, just pages and pages of things like a circus that have nothing to do with the plot. I have read two others in the series, they too are full of pages of non-relevant information about flowers and trees. I doubt I will even finish this one as I am loosing patience with it.Product details

Indigo as an Iris Biscuit McKee Mysteries Book 5 edition by Fran Stewart Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
Now that I am hooked on this series. I can hardly wait for the next one to come out.I love the characters
Most of the Fran Stewart cozies are enjoyable, with likable characters, interesting plots. This one was no exception. A quick, fun read.
This story starts in despair and ends worse. It pulls at our heartstrings and unltimately at our disgust. Good characters, nice to keep some of them, just too violent for a cozy, whether intuitive or not.
The Biscuit McKee series of books are delightful. The only downside is when you finish all the books in the series, you long for more. More wisdom from Marmalade and wonderful ideas like nightly gratitude lists. Of course, there is the mystery itself which winds itself through the book. Indulge yourself with all the books in the series!
I REALLY ENJOY THESE BOOKS. THEY HAVE SUCH "UNUSUAL" PEOPLE IN THEM. DIFFERENT KINDS OF PLOTS, TOO. I LIKE HOW MARMALADE HAS HER OWN NAMES FOR CHARACTERS.
In my opinion, this novel is the author's best effort yet. She's definitely honing her craft & this story flows along wonderfully. I just love Marmy's soft presence throughout these novels! I'd definitely recommend this series to mystery & cat lovers alike.
To anyone with a cat DON'T give garlic for fleas {on pg 122} GARLIC IS TOXIC FOR CATS. As the author suggest to do.
